Linda Louise Kaylor Gibbs, age 77 of Heflin, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016. She was born December 25, 1938 to the late Olen Jeff Kaylor and Mary Crumley Kaylor. She retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company after 18 years of service as a seamstress. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, O.D. Kaylor and Curtis Kaylor; and three sisters, Glema Chandler, Grace Gaines, and Gertrude Hayes. Survivors include her loving husband, Bobby Milton Gibbs; her son, Terry D. Gibbs (Susan); two grandchildren, William Ross Gibbs (Laura), and Tabatha Hope Edge; three great grandchildren, McKinleigh Hope Edge, Geoffrey Wade Gibbs and William Connor Gibbs; sisters, Margie Wysner and Gladys McMahan; and brother, John Kaylor. Memorial service will be conducted Friday, March 18, 2016 at 4:00 PM (EST) from Old Hopewell Baptist Church in Heflin, Alabama with Bro. Phillip King officiating. In keeping with the family's wishes, the body has been cremated. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com.
