BRECKENRIDGE - Mrs. Mabel M. Breckenridge, 85, River Bluff Nursing Home, died at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 1964, in Swedish-American Hospital after a long illness. Born Oct. 21, 1878, in Freeport, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Kauffman. Lived 58 years in Rockford, coming here from Freeport. Married to Edward C. Breckenridge in Rockford June, 1907. He died April 3, 1951. Survivors include: three sons, Edward A., Benjamin E., and Willard H. Breckenridge, all of Rockford; one sister, Mrs. Vivian Lightfoot of Pecatonica; and one grandson.
Services at 3 p.m. Thursday in JULIAN-POORMAN FUNERAL HOME, 304 N. 5th St. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. No visitation.
