Laurice K. Henry, 90, a 3-year resident of Warren, formerly of Shelby Township, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, in Abbey Nursing Home, Warren. She was born Feb. 12, 1916, in Detroit.
Mrs. Henry retired after 22 years of employment from OPEIU-Local 42. She was a member of St. George Orthodox Church's Ladies Society and a lifetime member of St. George Orthodox Church, Troy. Her family said she was a loving friend to many.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Sally), Donald (Barbara) and Randall; grandchildren, Kimberly (Andre), Michael, Andrew, Jamie and Kim Baker; great-grandchildren, Amanda, A.J., Laura (Doug) and Tracy (Jim) Liandra; sisters-in-law, Anna Kassab and Adele Henry; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, C. John; and siblings, Anthony, Isabelle, Dolores and Fred.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. George Orthodox Church, 2160 E. Maple Road, Troy, with the Rev. Joseph Antypas officiating. Private burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. George Orthodox Church Building Fund.
