Andrew Karpuk, 64, of 135 North 24th, died unexpectedly yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. Born Dec. 13, 1898 in Poland, he came here 50 years ago. He leaves two daughters and four songs, Mrs. Edward Dreffs, Mrs. Clyde Thompson, Edward, Donald, Albert and Andrew Karpuk Jr. all of Saginaw, 28 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was employed at the C & O Railroad for 19 years. Surviving are two daughters and four sons. Mrs. Edward Dreffs, Mrs. Clyde Thompson, Edward, Donald, Albert and Andrew Karpuk Jr. all of Saginaw; 28 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral service will take place Friday morning at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Shea Funeral Home after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
