Born in Kalapa, Hawaii, he is survived by wife Margaret M.; sons Albert and John III; daughters Cindy McEnroe and Cynthia Kahalewai; brothers Henry and Richard Kahalewai and Samuel, Artemis, Solomon and Abraham Naone; sisters Elizabeth Martin, Abby Kahalewai, Jesse Cavaco and Mary Ann Johnson; and six grandchildren.

Mass: 7 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Ewa Beach. Call from 6 to 9 p.m. Visitation: 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. Burial: Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire.
