Lena Julian was born in Attica, she was married to Jacob Andrews also of Attica. She was the first cateress who served at the Harrison Hills country club and left her about eight years ago to take charge of the Country club at Crawfordsville, in which capacity she was still serving when she was taken ill.
She is survived by her husband, 2 sons, Harold and Robert, and one daughter, Mary Margaret Maxson, all residing in Crawfordsville. Four brothers, Samuel Julian, of Ambia; Elbert Julian, of Noblesville; Albert Julian and Charles Julian, of Indianapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Schlitzer, of Steger, Illinois, and Mrs. Ora Stearman of Peotone, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock form the Crawfordsville Country club. Burial will be made in Oak Hill cemetery. Rev. W.B. Warriner of Attica will conduct the service." – August 27, 1936
