She was born in Marion, SC on July 19, 1939, to the late Clarence E. Joye and Alice Smith Joye.
Mrs. Berry retired as Dining Room Supervisor from S&S Cafeteria after 16 years service.
She enjoyed playing bridge, bingo, reading books by Joyce Meyer, and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Berry was a member of Ashley River Baptist Church in Charleston. Upon moving to Boone, NC, she joined Greenway Baptist Church.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her sons: Milton Otis Berry, Jr. of Summerville, SC, Ronald Lee Berry of Capitola, CA, and Andrew Clarence Berry of Boone, NC; daughters: Robin Berry McCord of Little River, SC, and Tara Berry Baraniak of Richmond Hill, GA; and seven grandchildren; brothers: Sam C. Joye of Marion, SC, Freddie W. Joye of Waynesboro, PA, Alton Boatwright of Marion, SC, and Rickie Joye of Chenny Hill, NJ.
Interment: Carolina Memorial Mausoleum.
