The funeral of Thomas W. Jost will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sixth ward meeting house. The remains will lie in state at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Hestmark, 475 Twenty - second street until 1 o'clock this afternoon. Interment will be in Ogden City Cemetery.

Funeral services for Thomas W. Jost were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sixth ward meeting house. Bishop Arthur Budge officiating. The funeral was largely attended and many floral tributes were silent to kens of the high esteem in which Mr. Jost was held. Bishop D. H. Ensign, a life - long friend of the deceased eulogized the life of Mr. Jost and spoke of his strict integrity and the good deeds performed by him before life's sun had reached its western horizon. Samuel G. Dye in his remarks, spoke of the immortality of the soul and the resurrection. Bishop Budge also paid tribute to the upright life of the deceased. The music consisted of "Perfect day" by A. H. Sanders; Mrs. Mary Jones and Miss Vera Jones sang "Oh Morning land," Mrs. Mary Farley sang "After" and the "Christian's Good - night" was sung by Miss Vera Jones. The pallbearers were Henry Newey, Henry Wet, Joseph Moore, Samuel Drake, Hyrum Goodale, and P. A. Isakson. Interment was in the City cemetery. The grave was dedicated by E. A. Larkin.
