Mrs. Thure Anderson, 71, of Bergland, died at 3 a.m. yesterday at Divine Infant of Prague Hospital in Wakefield, where she had been admitted a few hours before.
Rites will be conducted at the Bergland Methodist Church Thursday afternoon at 2(CST) by the Rev. William N. Mertz of Ironwood. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Bergland.
The body is at the Brown Funeral Home in Bruce Crossing, which will be open to friends from 3 p.m. tomorrow until Thursday, at which time the body will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Anderson was born in West Branch Jan 7, 1883. She was a resident of Painesdale for four years and of Bergland for the past 17 years.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Bergland Methodist Church, the WSCS, And the Bergland American Legion Auxiliary.
She was married to Mr. Anderson, who survives her, in Duluth in 1915. Her maiden name was Florence Joslyn.
Other survivors include a son, Thure Jr., Bergland; four daughters, Mrs. Russell Smith of Chicago, Mrs. Florence Flos of Los Angeles, Mrs. Bert Lovell, of Mulberry, Ark., and Mrs. Gertrude Kasper of Bergland; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bert Douslin of Bergland.
