Rosemary M. Fife, 88, of Mansfield, died March 23, 2015. Born August 3, 1926 in Lucas, she was the daughter of Clarence and Lula (Myers) Jonson. Rosemary worked at Therm-O-Disc for many years. In her free time, she loved to sew and crochet, and was always making "scrubbies" for everyone. Rosemary enjoyed babysitting and was a foster mother. She was a member of Lucas FourSquare Gospel Church, TOPS, and The Red Hat Society.

Surviving are her daughters, Marcella Schoonyan of Lucas, Mary Jane (Rick) Augustine of Mansfield, and Jonette (Jack) Spreng of Mansfield; grandchildren, John (Tammy) Schoonyan of Bellville, Tammy (James) Ludwig of Bellville, Greg (Jazz) Schoonyan of Mansfield, Chrissy (Jason) Richie of Tiffin, Carrie Carroll of Mansfield, Touby (Jill) McMillen of Mansfield, Jason (Crystal) McMillen of Mansfield, Lynde (Ray) Reedy of Mansfield, Curtis (Michelle) Fife of Mansfield, and Michelle Rhode of Bellville; twenty four great-grandchildren; thirty great-great-grandchildren; five great-great-great-grandchildren; foster sons, Ben Breneman of Wooster and Jeff Breneman of Wooster; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Fife; son, Larry Fife; son-in-law, Jack Schoonyan; and half sister, Ruby Oswalt.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Phillip Banks. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Union Cemetery in Perrysville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Area Agency on Aging, 2131 Park Avenue West, Ontario, OH 44906.
