Norfolk-Nonie Jones Dowdy, 88, of 1005 Hampton Blvd., a native of Coinjock, N.C., who lived here 55 years, died Friday. She was the widow of Ernest L. Dowdy.
She was a member of South Norfolk Church of Christ.
Survivors include a half-sister, Iona Harrington, and a half-brother, Jack Jones, of Lewistown, N.C.; and two nieces, Geraldine Johnson of Norfolk and Angeline Hugo of Fredericksburg.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Garrett Lee. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, has charge of arrangements.
