Jones, Theodore
Theodore Jones passed away Thursday afternoon at the Belle Knife Hospital in Coquille, following the amputation of his leg that morning. Mr. Jones had suffered with bone infection since a mill accident leg was broken and crushed, and recently the condition became worse and about ten days before his death he was taken to the hospital where everything possible was done for him but to no avail. Mr. Jones was 58 years of age and made his home here with his sister, Mrs. A. B. Hillabold, and family, who have the sincere sympathy of the community in their sorrow. Funeral services were held Saturday in Coquille, conducted by Saturday in Coquille, conducted by George R. Turncy, Vicar of St. James' Episcopal Church, and interment was in the Masonic cemetery.
