Florence May Jones was born 26 August 1915 in Minneapolis, MN to Richard William Jones (1873-1952) and Isabel Shear Pratt Jones (1877-1954), their youngest daughter. She first married Albert J. Lundberg (1912-1938), born in Sweden, and a department manager for a supply company on 25 September 1937 in Minneapolis. She was widowed when he died in a tragic drowning accident at Lake Mitchell (near Big Lake), MN on 3 July 1938 at the age of 26. She later married Howard Franklin Clemens (1916-2002) on 6 June 1942. They had two children: John (b.1943) and Kathleen (b.1946). Florence Clemens died 16 March 1993 in Richfield, MN at the age of 77. Howard was buried next to her after his death in 2002.
