Lieutenant Colonel William Wiley Jones, age 72, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on February 14, 2015 at his residence.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Orange Hill Cemetery in Hawkinsville, Georgia.

Mr. Jones was born in Dalton, Georgia and was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army. He also retired from Robins Air Force Base as a civil service worker. Over the years Mr. Jones also served on several committees for the City of Hawkinsville. He was also a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Faye Jones of Hawkinsville, Georgia; son, Dr. William (Lee Ellen) Wiley Jones of Rogers, Arkansas; daughters, April (Doug) Falcon of Oregon City, Oregon, Elizabeth Mays of Dahlonega, Georgia, Renee (Don) Lombardo of Woodbridge, Virginia and Kristie Wood of Warner Robins, Georgia; sister, Anna Lee Highland of Columbus, Georgia. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
