Woman Falls To Death – Suicide Notes Discovered In Local Hotel Room.

Plunge From Sixth Floor to Portland Street Occurs During Noon Hour.

Mrs. Lottie Brix, about 30, wife of H. S. Brix 3017 Northeast Thirty-second place, plunged to her death shortly after noon yesterday f rom the sixth floor of the New. Heathman hotel after leaving a number of suicide notes in a room she had rented about 10 A.M., according to a report from the coroner's office and from police who investigated.

Officers said Mrs. Brix registered at the hotel as Mrs. Ted White, Vancouver, Wash. Investigators reported finding an empty liquor bottle in the room.

The notes were addressed to her husband and to his father, and a third was intended for police, officials said. Police said the notes indicated Brix had been having domestic difficulties.

The Coroner's office took charge of the body pending funeral arrangements.
