Isabella A Johnston was the daughter of Daniel Johnston and Elizabeth Linder. She married James Burr Johnston 12 Feb 1830 in Washington County AL. They were they parents of Emaline, Doda, Georgina A, James Burr Jr, William and Arista. James Burr Johnston Sr died in 1857. She married James M Jenkins in 1858.
Isabella is my 5th great aunt and I have done a lot of research on the Johnston family. I can send many documents to prove what I have related. Linder is transcribed wrong in many records because it is hard to tell a "R" from and "N". Isabella's grandfather was John Linder Jr. John Linder Jr and his father were early settlers in Alabama under Spanish rule.
