Jeanne M. Chevalier, 89, of Sayre, Pa., passed away on Saturday, May; 4, 2013 at ElderWood.
She was born on March 23, 1924 in Sayre, Pa., the daughter of the late George H. and Grace VanBuren Johnson.
Jeanne loved to sing and dance, and enjoyed crafting. She coordinated the activities at the Airport Senior Community for a number of years. She attended Sayre Christian Church.
She is predeceased by her husband Victor Chevalier, son Ronn Chevalier, brother George Johnson and sister Phyllis Boss.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sue and Walt Harris of Elmira, N.Y.; grandchildren Ronni and Rick Porcaro, Michael and Cheri Chevalier, Neil Chevalier, Van Chevalier, Vicki and Bob Schornstheimer, Kim Harris, Scott and Tina Harris, and Lon and Annette Harris; 17 great-grandchildren, two greatgreat grandchildren; brother Richard Johnson of Sayre, Pa.; sisters Katherine
Park of Elmira, N.Y., and Janice Besecker of Sayre, Pa.; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, N.Y.
