Alice May Endlich, 103, of Cumberland died Feb. 22 at Cumberland Hospital. Funeral services were Wednesday morning at First United Methodist Church in Cumberland, with the Rev. Bruce Stunkard officiating and burial at Lakeside Cemetery there.

Mrs. Endlich was born Jan. 26, 1905 in Des Moines, Iowa, to Oluf and Julia (Vaubel) Johnson. The family moved to the Town of Stanfold when Mrs. Endlich was 9, and she attended school there. In the early 1930s she owned and operated the Pal Lunch Restaurant in Cumberland. She married Raymond Endlich in Fallsington, Pa., on June 17, 1937. Mrs. Endlich was a longtime member of United Methodist Women, a charter member of the Barron County Humane Society and a member of the Cumberland Extended Care Unit Auxiliary. The couple also sponsored Cumberland High School scholarships.
