Elizabeth C. Easton, 75
VALLEJO, Calif. -- Elizabeth C. (Johnson) Easton, 75, formerly of Ayer, died Sept. 1, 2006, in Vallejo, Calif.
Elizabeth was born in Pueblo, Colo., on May 15, 1931, a daughter of Elmer C. Easton and Vida (Kellog) Johnson and resided for 30 years in Ayer before moving to California two years ago.
Elizabeth had worked for 11 years at the JFK Federal Building in Boston before retiring in 2000. Prior to that, she had worked at the former Park Street Diner in Ayer. Following her retirement she worked several years at the McDonald's in Ayer.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Ayer and had actively volunteered in many activities for the Ayer Council on Aging.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Tocar of Wheatridge, Calif.; three grandsons, Steven Yother, Patrick Yother and Skyler Robinson; and two granddaughters, Ginger Robinson and Isis Yother. She also leaves many friends in the Ayer area including the Lavoie Family.
She was the mother of the late Chris A. Tucker of Pueblo, Colo., who died in 1952.
A funeral Mass and burial took place in Pueblo, Colo.
A memorial Mass will be held locally at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, at St. Anthony's Church, 14 Phoenix Street, Shirley.
