Agnes Lunell Johnson Collins, 87, of Leming Street, Greeneville, died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Collins was a retired associate with Greeneville Foundry Company and Greeneville Iron and Paper Company.
She was a member of Bethesda Community Church, formerly First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Her family noted, "She was a loving wife and mother. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
"She enjoyed life and her work. She had friends everywhere. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. "
Mrs. Collins was the widow of Ross E. Collins, her husband of 62 years who died Oct. 20, 2003.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Lyle and Nancy Collins of Greeneville; two daughters and sons-in-law: Fayetta and Bobby Lee of Mosheim and Kathy and Charles Caraway of Greeneville; two grandsons and their wives: Jeffery and Patricia Collins of Afton and Van and Kathy Lee of Mosheim; one granddaughter and her husband: Charity and Curtis Gray of Greeneville; three great-grandsons: Dalton Gray of Greeneville, Matthew Collins of Afton, and Brandon Sellers of Mosheim; three great-granddaughters: Beth Ann Collins of Afton, Darian Gray of Greeneville, and Wendy Blackburn and her husband, Ricky, of Elizabethton; one great-great-granddaughter: Kenlee Blackburn of Elizabethton; her sisters-in-law: Blanch Looney of Bean Station, and Eliza Collins, Brenda Collins, and Frances Collins, all of Greeneville; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: the Rev. Howard and Mildred Munsey; several nieces and nephews; and her special caregivers: Irene Blake, Treva Ingram, and Tisha Wilburn.
She was a daughter of the late Isaac Newton "I.N." and Henrietta Carlisle Johnson and was preceded in death by four brothers: Oscar Lee Johnson, Robert Clyde Johnson, Elmer Carl Johnson, and Lewis Floyd Johnson; and one sister: Lucy Ellen Johnson Darnell.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Lawrence Jersey and the Rev. Howard Munsey will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in River Hill Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 to go in procession to the cemetery.
Her grandsons and nephews will be pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Greeneville Iron and Paper Company
