Oct 25, 1930 - Carroll Daily Herald - Lloyd Johnson died at 1 o'clock today in his home at 200 northwest street after an illness of a few days. No arrangements have been made for the funeral. The lad was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Johnson and was born in Lake City Mar. 18, 1915. Mr. Johnson is the baggageman in the Chicago and North Western station.

Oct 29, 1930 - Carroll Daily Herald - Funeral rites for Lloyd Johnson were held yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the home on West Street and the Rev. Henry C. Schneider of the Presbyterian church conducted the services. The body was taken to Lake City for burial and the pallbearers were six cousins of the lad, who died Saturday after a few days illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Johnson.
