Mamie Pack, 95, of Cameron, died Tuesday, January 27, 2004 in a Temple hospital. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery Pavilion. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Funeral Home.
Ms. Pack was born March 21, 1908 in Bruceville, TX to John and Bertha (Moses) Johnson. She had served as a house parent for the Waco State Home as well as the Methodist State Home. Ms. Pack was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and was actively involved at Bea's Kitchen. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cameron.
Survivors include; son, Ira Pack of Cameron; sisters Cecil Harding of Bruceville and Melba Parkins of Illinois; grandchildren Marian Warrick of Cameron, Jackie Morgan of Rockdale, Richard Pack of Magnolia, Kelley Pack of Bryan, and Roger Pack of Rockdale; 10 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
