Goldie Mae Johnson, 74, of Pennellville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton. Born in Smithville, she had lived in Pennellville almost 50 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and gardening. She was an active member of the Pennellville United Methodist Church and was a member of both the Sunshine Circle and the Starlight Circle. She was predeceased by her first husband Glenn Adams, daughter Glenda Adams, brothers Frederick, Robert and Elmer Secor, sisters Ethel Tanner, Edna Costantino and Elsie Lyttle. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Paul; a daughter, Elizabeth Johnson of Phoenix; a son, Thomas of Pennellville; three grandchildren, Joshua (Mindy) Dix of Pennellville, Adams Dix and Katie Dix, both of Phoenix; a great-granddaughter, Madison Lyn Dix of Pennellville; a brother, Ray (Cecile) Secor of Clayton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2004, at the Pennellville United Methodist Church and graveside services at 3 p.m. in Smithville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Watson Funeral Home, Inc., 631 So. Main St., Central Square. Contributions may be made to the Pennellville United Methodist Church, Pennellville, NY 13132.
