Agnes Johns Bert, 75, died Nov. 30, 2012 at Raulerson Hospital, Okeechobee. She was a lifetime resident of Brighton.
Before retiring, she was a Nurse's Aide at the Brighton Medical Clinic and taught language and tribal culture to many on the Brighton reservation.
She was a member and attended services at First Indian Baptist Church of Brighton.

She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild; 13 Great Grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Mrs. Bert is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Robert Bert; two brothers, Hosea Girtman, and Oscar Johns; two sisters, Lois Johns Smith, and Maude Frank.
Service and Visitation will be Monday, December 3, 2012 from 10am to 12pm at the First Indian Baptist Church of Brighton; Pastor Matt Tiger officiating.
