Eva J. Barger, 74, 2133 Sherwood Road, Kingsport, died Wednesday (April 17, 1991) at Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center after an extended illness. Born in Clinchport, Va., she had lived in the Kingsport area most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Barger; her mother, Kate Scarborough; and one sister, Virginia Kilgore. Surviving are two sons, Bill Jennings, Kingsport; Ross Jennings, Wilton, N. H.; five grandchildren; and one brother, Sam Bray, Kingsport. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at East Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Rye Fleenor officiating.
