A memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 2nd, 2011, at the Faith Lutheran Church, Abilene with Rev. Justin Panzer officiating. Following the service the family will receive friends at Scott & Debbie Jenne's home (103 N Jefferson, Abilene).
Mrs. Jenne was a homemaker. She worked for many years at the Chapman Valley Nursing Home in Chapman, KS. She moved with her husband and family during his military career; in 1967 they lived in Tescott; from 1973 until 1980 they lived in Chapman, and finally resided in Abilene.
She married Claire A. "Tic" Jenne on June 5, 1953, in Edinburgh, Scotland; he preceded in death on June 30, 2007. She is survived by her three sons: Ray Jenne (wife-Kathy) and Scott Jenne (wife-Debbie) both of Abilene, and Tony Jenne (wife-Tam) of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family requests memorials, in lieu of flowers, to the Dickinson County Hospice; and can be sent in care of the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory – Herington Chapel, 404 S Broadway, Herington, KS 67449-3038.
