Redmond, Utah - Our kind and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, June Jenkins Bosshardt, age 90 of Redmond, Utah passed away peacefully in her sleep during the early morning hours of May 18, 2008.

June was born July 12, 1917, in Freedom, Wyoming, a daughter of William Evan and Lena Weber Jenkins. She was the youngest of seven children.

She attended school in Freedom and Afton, Wyoming and received a teaching certificate from Utah State University in Logan. After graduating from college, she taught school in northern Utah for one year and then was called to serve an LDS Mission to the Northern States.

June married Milo J. Bosshardt in the Salt Lake Temple on June 13, 1944.

She was an active member of the LDS church throughout her life and held many church callings and positions including: Ward and Stake Relief Society President, Young Women and Primary and teaching assignments. She was a devoted wife, mother, friend and a great example to many people.

She and her husband served together in the Guatemala LDS Mission in 1983. After returning from their mission, they served 19 years in the Manti LDS Temple.

June loved: reading, cooking, teaching, gardening, canning, writing skits and plays, family reunions and gatherings and serving others.

She is survived by her husband, Milo J. Bosshardt of Redmond; children: Sandra and Ivan Banks of Green River, WY; Jay Bosshardt, Neal and Marcia Bosshardt, Susan and Gary Carlisle, all of Redmond; Cheryl and Russell Buchanan of Venice; Jan Eversole of Orem; Jill and Richard Bigler of Blackfoot, Idaho; 39 Grandchildren and 40 Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Bosshardt; three granddaughters, Rashele Eversole; Juliana Eversole; Kaylen Robinson; her parents; five sisters: Myra Jenkins, Edyth Romney, Alice Hamilton, Norma Campbell, Elmina Haderlie and a brother, Evan Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 12 Noon in the Redmond LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Redmond Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
