He was born in Daviess County, was the retired owner of Jenkins Garage, and was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Emily Easler Jenkins; 4 daughters, Cynthia Ambs, Melinda Jenkins and Belinda Jenkins, all of Owensboro, Sharon Wallace of Rockport, IN; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Edgar Jenkins of Owensboro; 3 grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Jeanette Wilburn of Owensboro and Eva Evans of Las Vegas, NE, Services are at 2:30 p.m. Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home. Burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation after noon today at the funeral home.
