Mrs. Carrie A. Jarrett, formerly of Linden RD 1, died at 4:30 p.m., Friday, 9 Mar 1942, at Lysock View, where she has been a guest for 4 years. She was 78 yrs.
She was the widow of John S. Jarrett.
Born in Rochester, N.Y., she was the daughter of Frank and Louise Yehle.
Surviving are 2 sons, John V. of Williamsport RD 1, and William H. of Baton Rouge, LA,: a daughter, Mrs. Harry F. Dangle, of Linden RD 1: a brother, William Yehle, of North Rose, N.Y.: 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2p.m. Monday at Spitler's 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, with the Rev. Harold I. Chamberlain, pastor of the South Williamsport Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1p.m. Monday until the time of the services.
