Stefphen Lee Janes, 18, Born December 31, 1986, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2005, in Corpus Christi, Texas. A loving son and brother.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Deborah K. Barnes and her fiancé Shawn Laughlin; brothers, Shawn Janes and Seth Barnes; sister, Shayna Peters; grandparents, William and Molly Mitchell all of Corpus Christi, Tecas, his great grandmother, Jessie Mae Mitchell of Fredericksburg, Texas; uncle, Curt Janes of Raymondville, Texas; Aunt, Susan Ulbrich (Michael) of Corpus Christi, Texas; uncle, Phillip Carlson (Jennifer) of Birmingham, Alabama; uncle, Todd Janes of Raymondville, Texas; uncle, Charles Mitchell (Jackie) of Corpus Christi, Texas; aunt, Denise Bates & Aunt Tiffany Lafon of Corpus Christi, Texas; Robert & Linda Simpson step-grandparents from Carenero, Louisiana, and numerous cousins.
Stefphen loved fishing, the outdoors and skateboarding. May he find peace and calm waters. He will be missed dearly. Pallbearers, Shawn Janes, Curt Janes, Phillip Carlson, Mike Laughlin, Frank Hadley and Eric Hernandez. Our family is grateful for everyone's support. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Premier Cremation and Funeral Care, 3720 S. Alameda. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 8, 2005, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2233 Waldron Rd. in Flour Bluff.
