Ann Elizabeth Jamerson Blankenship, 76, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born May 6, 1938, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Marion Ashwell Jamerson Dunn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Blankenship. She was a retired waitress and attended Calvary Cross Baptist Church. Mrs. Blankenship is survived by five children, Kathy Davis (Ricky Brooks), Randy Blankenship, Wanda Pillow, Roger Blankenship, and Donna Yeatter (Ricky), all of Lynchburg; three sisters, Sandra Tyree (Junior) and Sharon Hudson (Ronnie), all of Madison Heights, and Katherine Ware (Gene) of Lynchburg; two brothers, Warren Jamerson (Elise) and Edward Jamerson, both of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, September 22, 2014 at the City Cemetery.
