Grant L. Jacobson passed away on July 13, 2016 with his children by his side. Grant was born August 1, 1931 in Belt, MT to Nels and Annie Jacobson. Grant lived and worked in Reno, NV for 65 years where he met and cherished many friendships.
Before moving to Reno, Grant served in the United States Navy where he was a proud Veteran that served in the Korean War. Grant was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his son, Chris (Alaina) Jacobson of San Diego, CA, daughter, Laura (Greg) Gardner of Oceanside, CA, daughter, Connie (Tony) Fondi of Carson City, NV, six grandchildren, Sean, Ashley, Kelly, Tony, Jenna and Jake, his nephew, Wayne Jacobson and many great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held with Military Honors at Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 14 Veteran's Way, Fernley, NV on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
Grant will be truly missed by his Family and Friends. Sail on Sailor.
