Billie Jean Jacobs Born May 20, 1930 in Seattle, WA, passed away on February 19, 2007 in Renton, WA. Billie was a member of the VFW-Skyway Post #9430 Auxiliary for 37 years, the Renton Eagles for 35 years, attended Skyway Church of God for 52 years and worked in the daycare center there for 17 years. She most recently attended Bryn Mawr Methodist Church. On June 28, 1948, Billie was blessed by her marriage to her loving husband, Leslie Jacobs. Billie and Leslie were together for nearly 59 years. She is also survived by daughter, Leanne Rissler (Bill) of Kent, WA, Grandchildren, Dusten Jacobs, Shannon Jacobs, and Chelsey Rissler. Extended family include Genevieve Iles of Sun City, AZ, Thomas Cadwell (Lucille) of Renton, Elaine Campbell and Robert Palo, both of Ellensburg, and dear friends of 53 years, Donna & Orville Peterson of Black Diamond, WA. Funeral Services will be conducted by Greenwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Visitation open to the public begins Tuesday, February 27, 2007 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 12:00 p.m.
