Celestia Taylor (Jackson) Jackson was born on October 5, 1834 in Vermont, the daughter of Henry "Harry" Jackson (ca 1805– ) and Sarah (Johnson) Jackson (ca 1812–1896). {Celestia's parents were married in 1834 in Wallingford, Rutland County, Vermont. An 1884 Nashville City Directory has Celestia's middle name as Tyler, while her obituary has her name as Celeste Taylor Jackson.}
She was married about 1859 to Henry T Jackson (ca 1830–ca 1870).
Living with her son-in-law F D Ridge at 511 42nd Avenue, Nashville, Celestia was 77 years old and a widow when she died at home on July 10, 1912 of hemiplegia.
Funeral Services were held on July 11th at the Ridge home, and burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.
