Mildred "Mae" Jackson, 72, of Bedford, Ky., died Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton, Ky.
She was born Jan. 6, 1934, in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of Edward and Ana Clark Frazier.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Jackson; two daughters, Emma Hicks of Bedford, Ky., and Brenda Pettit of Lawrenceburg; three sons, Steven Taylor of Bedford, Ky., Mathew Zosel and William Zosel, both of Tampa, Fla.; two stepsons, Ricky Jackson and Donnie Jackson, both of Bedford, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Karen Mattingly of La Grange, Ky., and Sheila Robinson of Shelbyville, Ky.; one sister, Louise Martin of Campbellsburg, Ky.; two brothers, Allen Frazier of Bedford, Ky., and Mart Frazier of La Grange, Ky.; 20 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jeffrey Taylor; one sister, Maudi Mertz; and three brothers, Ralph, Owen and Henry Frazier.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial will be in the Bedford IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
