Judith Gail (Judy) Jackson Bartram, 73, of Greenville, wife of Charles Douglas Bartram, died on Sunday May 3, 2009.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late David M. and Milward Kelly Jackson.
She retired from National Lock in Mauldin after 17 years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Bayne and husband Danny of Greenville; two sons, Charles D. Bartram Jr. of Greer and Joseph M. Bartram of Greenville; a sister, Jane H. Sparks of Murrells Inlet; three brothers, Morris F. Hodge of Vale, N.C., Roderick E. Hodge and William H. Hodge of Murrells Inlet; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Corey M. Bartram; and a brother, James Harold Hodge Jr.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 5, 2009, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation prior at 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery West.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, McCall Hospice House, or The Cancer Society.
The family would like to thank Dr. Joe Stephenson and the staff of Cancer Centers of the Carolinas, Heartland Hospice, and McCall Hospice House for their wonderful support and care during Judy's courageous six-year battle with cancer.
The family will be at the residence of Danny and Kim Bayne.
