Professional Hockey Coach. Iverson began his career at the University of Minnesota where he coached ice hockey from 1922 to 1930, including 5 championship teams. In 1931 he was brought in as a trainer for the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks by Maj. Frederic McLaughlin, a prominent businessman and sportman, but was soon made coach of them. Everson coached the team from 1931 to 1934, bringing them to both second and fourth places. Everson died at the Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, on February 21, 1960, at the age of 67.
