Funeral Services were held May 13, 1991, from the Chapel of the Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, with Rev. John Spanhanks and Rev. Dan McGee officiating. Interment followed in Bethany Cemetery near Colmesneil under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.
A native of Liberty County, he lived in Tyler County most of his life. He was a retired wholesale bait dealer and was a World War II U. S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Wigley Irvine of Dam B; a son, Billy Ray Irvine of Port Neches; daughters, Donna Sylvia of Arlington, and Kathelene Grissom and Wanda Johnston, both of Dam B; a sister, Mae Hill of Dam B; brothers, Guy Irvine of Nacogdoches, David Irvine of Silsbee, Aubrey Irvine of Austin, and Raymond Irvine and Vernon Irvine, both of Woodville; and 11 grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Robert Rivers, Charles Withers, Roy Hllyer, Ocie Fitzgerald, Tom Hicks, and James R. Smith.
