Donna Jolene Wright Hansbrough, 77, of Versailles, KY formerly of Galesburg, died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in Lexington, KY.

Donna was born on August 20, 1935 in Galesburg, the daughter of Bernard and Helen (Fifield) Irons. Donna graduated from Corpus Christi High School in 1953.

She married Donald Wright on September 24, 1960 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1979.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Mark) Deahl of Versailles, KY; a sister, Mary Johnson of Galesburg; three grandchildren, D.J. (Rachel) Wilson, Ashley Wilson, and Bethany Wilson; and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Aside from her husband and parents, Donna was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Irons; a sister, Nancy Day; and a nephew, Wayne Johnson.

Donna's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Donna will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home, with Deacon Jim Haneghan officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
