Watertown Daily Times - Irene I. Maier, 77, of 214 Francis Court, Beaver Dam, died on Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at Continental Manor in Randolph.

The former Irene Immerfall was born Sept. 17, 1925 in Beaver Dam, daughter of George and Hulda (Stelter) Immerfall. She married Reynold "Reiny" Maier on Nov. 25, 1944, at St. Peter's Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam.

Irene loved to play cards and enjoyed sports. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Reynold "Reiny" of Beaver Dam; her children Reiny J. (Janis) Maier of Manitowoc, Janice (Harold) Shawn of West Bend, Joanne (Gregory) Beranek, all of Watertown, and Kathleen (Steven) Voight of Beaver Dam; seven grandchildrenn, Tamara, Christina, Missy, Jill, James, Brian and Mark; five great-grandchildren, Lily Grace, Carson Paul, Anna Sue, Travis and Allison; her sisters and brothers Angeline Benike, Eleanor Cramer, Clarisse Dean, June Jeske, Betty Lou Haefner, Junior Immerfall and Lloyd Immerfall; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother- and father-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Maier; four sisters, Blanche Baaske, Hattie Wodill, Hildegarde Hoffman and Virginia Schmid; and two brothers, Alfred and Leonard Immerfall.
