Rachel Puaahihi Ignacio Igarta, age 77, of Pearl City, went home with the angels on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. She joined her husband, Benito Sonny Igarta Jr, and her beloved son, Diedrick Francis Igarta, who preceded her in death.
Rachel is survived by her loving partner of 44 years, Joseph DeVera, her daughters, Kulamanu Maunupau (Joseph), Lahela Igarta, Pamela Kau'i Keola (Rocco), Jo-Lynn Igarta, her son, Lopaka Igarta-DeVera (Sonny), 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
Services on Saturday, July 3 at Borthwick Mortuary Downtown. Visitation 9 – 12. Services 12:00. Burial 2:00 at Hawaiian Memorial Cemetery. Aloha attire.
