She was born in Brunswick, Ga., raised in Statesboro, Ga., and was the daughter of the late James Benjamin and Maud Deana DePratter Hutto. She was a retired business owner, bookkeeper and was a member of Allendale First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Ethan Allen, her second husband, Jack Allen, and five brothers.
Graveside funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Swallow Savannah Cemetery with the Reverend Carol Holladay officiating.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Jeff Casillo; two grandsons, James Allen Hagood (Kristi), and John Thomas "Tommy" Hagood (Tammy) and their daughter Taela; two stepgranddaughters, Cristina Casillo and Candance Casillo; one brother, J.B. Hutto; and several nieces and nephews, including her very special niece, Tereha Hutto Lowery.
