Funeral services for Mailon Benson Hutson, 56, of Blackville, SC will be held eleven a.m., Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, with burial in Barnwell Memorial Park by the airport. The family will receive friends Thursday from six to eight p.m. at the funeral home. Mailon died Sunday, July 5, 2009.
Born in Barnwell County, he was a son of the late George Dewey Hutson and Lou Ellen Rowell Hutson. He was a self-employed truck driver and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Nola Mae Dunaway Hutson; daughter, April Nicole Hutson; step-daughter, Samantha Hunter; son, Jamie Benson Hutson, step-son, Jacob Hunter; sister, Geraldine Carroll; brothers, O'Neal, Bobby, Franklin, Deacon and Etheredge Hutson. He was preceded in death by a son, Mailon Benson Hutson, Jr.
