87. Ed was the son of Alvin and Daisy (Kilmister) Hussey.

He attended Concord High School and was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran where he served as a Machinist Mate 3rd Class. In 1947 he became the owner of a dairy farm in Chichester which he operated until 1972. He was active in his community having served on the Planning Board and as Road Agent in Chichester. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, White Mountain Lodge for 45 years and also a member of the Chichester Pehaugan Men's Club.

His family and friends will remember him for his love of the outdoors. He loved farming, hunting, fishing in various lakes and also fishing at the Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine and took great pride in his vegetable gardens. He enjoyed reading and doing his crossword puzzles and took pleasure in visits from his children and grandchildren.

Ed leaves his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Mae (Fellows) Hussey; two daughters, Carol Linder of Nashua and Susan Coffey and husband, Ed, of Pembroke; one son, David Hussey and wife, Naomi, of Chichester; three grandchildren, Byron Linder and wife, Gloria, Eric Hussey and wife, Heather and Chelsea Hussey; and two great-grandchildren, Maeson Linder and Aubrey Hussey. He is also survived by two sisters, Naomi Grossman of Allentown, Pa. and Daisy Day of Chichester; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Underwood.
