ROBERT HURT
ROBERT HURT, age 57, died at his home in Atlanta, Georgia, Sunday morning, according to information received by his sister-in-law, Mrs. SAM LANIUS of Gainesville. Mrs. Hurt was taken ill with pneumonia last Wednesday and grew steadily worse. Mrs. Hurt was in Oklahoma City visiting her brother, WILL EDWARDS, when she was notified of her husband's illness and arrived in Atlanta a few hours before his death. Mrs. Hurt was the former Miss MARY EDWARDS of Gainesville, daughter of the late Dr. T. C. EDWARDS, prominent dentist here. Mr. Hurt was, for some years, engaged in the saddlery business at Paris, Texas, moving to Atlanta only a few months ago.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. GEORGE LACKEY of Oklahoma City. Mrs. Hurt's brother, WILL EDWARDS, of Oklahoma City, who was here to attend the funeral of P. H. LANIUS, will remain for the funeral of Mr. Hurt here.
The remains are expected to arrive by train Tuesday afternoon and services will be held at Fairview cemetery, with Rev. J. E. MURRELL of the First Baptist Church officiating. G. J. Carroll has charge. Pallbearers will be friends from Paris, Texas, where he formerly resided.
