Lela Ruth (Hunter) Arrington was born on August 9, 1918, the daughter of James Malon Hunter (1895–1980) and Marie (Gibbs) Hunter (1898–1922).
She was married to Garland Arrington and was employed as an Inspector with Robertshaw (Lux Clock) for over 30 years. she was also a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ and was a Wal-Mart door greeter for several years.
Lela was 95 years old and a resident of Lebanon, Tennessee when she passed away on March 3, 2014 at Quality Car Health Center.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, special cousin Dan Reasonover, and by her step-mother Ida ( -- ) Hunter, she was survived by married twin daughters, a half-brother half-sister three married grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, with Honorary Pallbearers being the Elders of Maple Hill Church of Christ.
