She died at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at the age of 74.

Daughter of John and Rose Hunter.
Sister to Janet Williams, Delores Carpenter, Madeline Hunter, Angeline Hunter, William Jones, Glen Hunte, and Gene Hunter.

Mother of the late Roxanne Hoyle.
Survived by her husband four children, one daughter-in-law and a granddaughter.

She lived in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Julia Richmond High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

She worked with the New York City Board of Education from 1968 to 1997. She was a member of Eastern Star chapters Lily of the Valley of new York and H.R. Smith 172 of Trenton.

Her obituary was published in The Times (Trenton NJ) on Dec. 28, 1997.
