Mary E. Abbott, 87, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2001 in Lawrenceville Manor. Born December 13, 1913 in Mount Carmel, she was the daughter of Henry Franklin and Alta (Buchanan) Hunt.
A homemaker, she was a member of the First Christian Church in Lawrenceville and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Her husband, Oliver C. Abbott, died June 10, 1992. Three brothers and three sisters are also deceased.
She was preceded in death by her husband on June 10, 1992, three sisters and three brothers are also deceased.
Survivors include a brother, Gilbert Hunt of Lawrenceville and two sisters, Jacqueline Forney of Lawrenceville and Opal Rogers of Bridgeport.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home.
