Dorothea Lee Humble, 87 of Carona, KS died at 9:15pm, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Medicalodge of Frontenac.

She was born October 31, 1926 in Cherokee, KS the daughter of George and Sarah (Feree) Bernhardt. She attended Fleming School and graduated from Cherokee High School.

On August 28, 1954 she was united in marriage to Bert Humble, Jr. in Weir, KS; he survives her of the home.

Dorothea was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Weir.

Additional survivors include a daughter Joyce Humble of Columbus, KS; two sons: Thomas Humble of Carona and David (Colette) Humble of Columbus; two sisters: Betty Bernhardt of Cherokee and Harriett Mishler of Lowell, KS along with two grandchildren: Chelsey Humble of Fayetteville, AR and Seth Humble of Pittsburg, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 1 pm, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus with Rev. Dennis Johnson Officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lone Elm Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm Monday evening. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Services by the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Columbus.
