Bernard (Bun" F. Huffman, 56, inspector for the Vernon-Crawford REA, died Thursday afternoon at the Veteran's Administration hospital in Madison after a long illness.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Lunenschloss-Hansen funeral home with the Rev. J.L. Leonard officiating. Burial was in the Fancy Creek cemetery.
He was the son of Howard and Ethel Huffman and was born in the Fancy Creek community. He was married April 28, 1934, to Carol Hanson. During World War II he served in the Army Engineer Corps. He was a member of the American Legion and Richland Lodge of the Masonic Order.
Huffman was an amateur magician and served as entertainer at many programs in the area.
Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Huffman, city; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Eng, Blue River, and two grandchildren.
